We are located in upstate South Carolina near Lake Hartwell. We are lucky to have 5 major lakes all within 45 minutes, so we’ll often start our day out on the water!

Simple – it’s about people, not profit. We’re fisherman just like you, and GLine Batteries are made specifically for marine use (i.e. bass boats, flats boats, etc). Unlike other LiFePO4 companies, we refuse to put the squeeze of high prices on our fishing and boating communities, and instead pride ourselves on offering high grade marine options that offer a true cost-to-benefit ratio. 

All GLine batteries are brand new “Grade A” lithium iron phosphate batteries.

GLine lithium batteries are water resistant and NOT submersible/waterproof. If you get water inside them, they will stop working. If water comes over the terminals on top of the battery, it will fill up with water. This is NOT covered by our GLine warranty, and we will not replace batteries that have water damage.

Think of it this way – if you have a “waterproof” phone and take it in the shower, where it gets a little wet, it should be fine. However, if you drop it in a lake, you will most likely have a phone that does not work anymore. If you take this broken phone back to the manufacturer and try to return it, they will not warranty it, because you damaged it beyond their product specifications. This is exactly the same concept as our water resistant GLine batteries.

First, please call us at 833-334-5463 to discuss the problem you are having with your battery as many issues can be resolved before the battery is returned to our shop. If we can’t troubleshoot the issue over the phone, you can submit an RMA Request for your order on your Customer Profile on our website.  

Please note that the customer will be responsible for the cost of return shipping to our shop via UPS Ground, and if there is a problem found with the battery, we will reimburse this shipping cost to you. However, if there is NOT a problem with the battery and it is found to be in good working condition, the incoming shipping charge will not be refunded. If you would like to bring a battery to our shop to be tested rather than shipping it back to us, there is of course no charge – please call us to schedule a time. Replacement batteries will not be shipped out for RMA claims until all testing on the returned battery has been performed and we have reached a conclusion as to its condition.

Please make sure that you include a copy of your original order invoice or a copy of this RMA email with your return or we will be unable to process the warranty claim. If possible, please use the original box and packaging your battery came in. Once shipped, please enter the tracking information in your RMA on our GLine website.

Once we receive the battery back in our shop, it may take several days to fully inspect, test, and diagnose the issue. We will update the RMA status and you will receive an additional email regarding our conclusion once this has been completed.

We carry what works. 88AH is our smallest trolling motor battery for a reason, after years of testing in tidal, wind and river conditions the tipping point for dawn to dusk power is around 80AH, anything less and you run the risk of “gassing out” for the afternoon bite. We at GLine are not all that interested in making a battery that is “good enough” to get a casual angler by for a day or half day, and that’s all a 50A-60AH battery is good for – “casual use”. What happens when you are in windy conditions in the bite of a life time and your batteries gas out? We guarantee ANY of our fully charged deep cycles will get your trolling motor from dawn to dusk, because on the water we are ALL anglers and none of us should be treated casually!

We DO NOT recommend that you charge your lithium batteries using a power pole charger as it may break your battery – this is a documented issue and has happened to many lithium batteries of multiple brands, including our customers. On the drop in batteries (24V & 36V) we recommend you use the included FREE 10 AMP charger. On single 12 volt batteries or multi battery systems, we recommend you use either a GLine or Noco charger of 5-10 AMPS. 

We ship via UPS ground. Once your order has been placed, you will receive a tracking number in your email. If you don’t see it, please check your spam folder!

Our credit card processor requires that cards be from the US and have an exact match on the address and CVV code. If you are having problems with your card, the easiest solution is to check out via PayPal. You are still able to use your credit card, and do not need to have a PayPal account.

The Bluetooth app that we use can be found at https://glinebattery.com/GLine_Bluetooth. The app is called “JBD BMS” and has an elephant logo, it can be downloaded from the link. Please note this is not an app developed by GLine Battery, and many lithium battery monitoring apps will work with our batteries.
